AB 32 KILLS JOBS

According to the California Small Business Roundtable, once AB32 is fully implemented by 2020, it will kill more than 1.1 million additional jobs. Businesses will simply be unable to afford AB 32’s costly regulations. They’ll close shop and move to other states - taking their jobs with them.

PROPOSITION 23 SAVES JOBS

Proposition 23 was placed on the ballot by citizens concerned about the future of California. How can the Golden State thrive when government policies are driving businesses and jobs out of the state?

Proposition 23 will suspend AB 32 until unemployment returns to 5.5% for one year. When Californians are employed and the economy is thriving once again, we can fully address AB 32's policies.
